Preparing your family member

It is critical that your family member develop as many living skills as possible prior to moving into housing. Research indicates that, for those with autism, daily living skills is a greater predictor of employment and life satisfaction in middle age than autism severity, language, or I.Q.

Developing living skills

In addition to developing living skills, it is critical to be able to visualize living in a new situation.
